  1. too simple for horchata, but very useful anyway

This is a blend of strong clove and sweet cinnamon. A barely-noticeable milky background emerges a day or two after mixing. I might detect a wisp of nutmeg in there, not sure. Do mix this at 5% or less - it's strong.

If a clove cigarette had sweet cinnamon powder added, this is the flavor I'd expect. Clove cigarette fans might like it plain. For horchata, this flavor by itself is just too simple.

Actual horchata flavor varies tremendously, but it's never just cinnamon+clove. Horchata begins with non-dairy "milk", usually from rice and/or almonds, plus cinnamon, and varying sweetness. It might include vanilla, sesame seeds, agave nectar, other nuts, clove (not as much as this concentrate!), allspice, nutmeg, etc...and that's just the base flavor! The base might be served plain or mixed with melon, berries, mango, papaya, coconut, lime, etc.

BUT I'm glad to have this useful flavor. It's the perfect addition to turn Chai Tea vapes into a Masala Chai! Add it to Sugar Cookie make spice cookies - then add molasses flavor to that for molasses cookies. Add to honey and gingerbread for Lebkuchen. Add to plain cappuccino and pumpkin for a holiday spice flavor.

Or make a respectable horchata! Start with the lightest cream flavor you have, add some of this, and any of the following that you like: almond, vanilla, honey, sweetener. When you're happy with that, you might be adventurous and try adding cantaloupe for a pretty darned authentic melon horchata.
