  1. Great device unless you build your own coils.

Posted by Brian Powers on 27th Apr 2014

I love the way this device looks, but there is one MAJOR flaw. The floating pin. While it may be fine for typical tanks, once you get below 1Ω, the spring that pushes the pin to the atomizer fails. If this flaw was addressed, it would be worth every penny. Unfortunately for me, I now have a $50 paperweight. I refuse to purchase a replacement part which will will also fail. I also don't want to replace the head with one from a better designed product that doesn't match the aesthetics I purchased the device for. Buyer beware! If I had known about the spring issue, I wouldn't hav epurchased the device.

  2. Looks great, doesn't hit very hard!

I'm comparing this to other mechs I own- The hit on the Galileo is lacking. It takes it a lot longer to 'heat up' my coils and the burn just isn't as great (like it is with my K100). I've tried several batteries (18350s, 18650s) and tanks and the results are always the same. Perhaps I just got a dud, but I'm searching for ways to improve the conductivity with this mod. Aesthetically, it's a great looking device. I tend to like it more when it's collapsed opposed to being telescoped. The rounded top prevents it from being flush with your RBA, but it doesn't look bad. So far I've only gotten one negative compliment when the owner of my local vape shop compared it to a tampon haha. I think overall it's a good mod but maybe geared a little more towards beginners. Hopefully I can find a way to get this thing to burn as hot as my Kamry, but right now that's preventing it from being my everyday mod.
